Defender returns to impress new boss
VERSATILE defender Max Ehmer has returned to QPR just weeks after agreeing to extend his loan at Yeovil Town until the season's end.
The young German is believed to want to impress new Loftus Road manager Mark Hughes, appointed earlier this month to replace Neil Warnock.
Glovers' boss Gary Johnson said: "I think Max wanted to go back as well and put himself in front of the new manager as quickly as possible, which I understand, totally.
"It coincided with the situation of bringing in Dean Parrett and having six loans, with one having to drop out. We have a good relationship with QPR and hopefully everyone will be okay with it."
Ehmer made 55 appearances in a year at Huish Park but was left out of last weekend's squad to face Tranmere Rovers.
