Defender delight at Hoops deal

The 19-year-old defender, whose only appearance this season was in the 3-2 Carling Cup win against Northampton, told QPR World: \"I'm delighted to sign for the R's. It's put my mind at ease and now I can get on with the job on the pitch.
\"Hopefully I'm not disappointing when given a chance. I'd love to be out there playing for the club.\"
Kanyuka admits he is relishing working further under manager Gary Waddock, who has turned to the club's youngsters since being placed in charge at Loftus Road.
He added: \"It's great because it gives you a confidence boost when you get out on the pitch. The manager's not afraid to put you in because of age - the only thing that matters is your talent.\"
