De Canio: We're no longer the ugly sisters
QPR manager Luigi De Canio claims his side have turned the corner and are no longer the laughing stock of the division.
Rangers recovered from conceding an early goal to win 3-2 at Southampton on Saturday and are now only six points of the top six.
The Italian said: "We're no longer the ugly sisters of the Championship.
"We were bottom when we arrived and we're now in a far healthier position in the standings.
"We'll continue to take each game as it comes but we're heading in the right direction and that is very pleasing."
The R's return to action tomorrow night with a home clash against Burnley.
