De Canio looks long-term future
Luigi De Canio is keen for QPR to cut out the complacency that cost them against Burnley last week.
The R's surrendered a two-goal lead to crash 4-2 against the Andy Cole-inspired Clarets at Loftus Road - a defeat that ended De Canio's hopes of claiming a hat-trick of Championship wins.
De Canio told the club's official website: "It's not something that can be eliminated in one go or one single moment, it takes time and work in training but slowly we will eradicate this problem."
The R's get the chance to bounce back this weekend when they take on Sheffield United but De Canio is aware they will be eager to impress their new manager Kevin Blackwell.
"Without a doubt they will be looking to get off to a good start in the Championship," he added.
"But league games, especially in the Championship, are very similar as you can beat anyone and can get beat by anyone and I'm just hoping on match day we will be in good shape and all the players will be at my disposal."
