De Canio hails players' effort
QPR boss Luigi De Canio praised his side's attitude and commitment to the cause despite their 3-0 defeat by Norwich at the weekend.
Rangers played with 10 men for 85 minutes after Damion Stewart's red card, and even though they were well beaten De Canio was satisfied with the effort his players put in despite having relatively little to play for.
"We did what was possible. The task was really difficult after the sending-off, but I am pleased with the players' efforts," said the Italian.
"They never stopped running and we kept fighting until the end."
Rangers' final game of the season, at home to promotion-chasing West Brom, is already a sell-out.
