De Canio backs attacking policy
QPR boss Luigi De Canio is satisfied his side's attacking intent will eventually begin to pay dividends after back-to-back draws.
Rangers were denied by the woodwork three times and an inspired performance by Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant in Saturday's goalless draw at Loftus Road, just as Crystal Palace's Julian Speroni kept them at bay in a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park a fortnight earlier.
"I like my teams to play attacking football and it's my job to teach the players that style of play," said De Canio.
"We showed once again that regardless of our league position we can match our opponents, and we outplayed Sheffield for long periods.
"Grant was the difference, as was Speroni a few weeks ago, but hopefully we won't come up against goalkeepers of their calibre every week."
