Daggers star faces six weeks out
Dagenham midfielder Paul Bruce faces six weeks on the sidelines once he undergoes surgery on a foot injury.
Former QPR man Bruce, 27, has not played since the end of August and needs surgery to clear the problem.
Manager John Still told Sir Stanley: "He's a key player, but it will give somebody else an opportunity.
Meanwhile, club captain Tim Cole's recovery from a nine-month absence with a knee injury continued as he came through a reserve game.
