Crystal Palace Interest in Jimmy Smith?
Crystal Palace are aiming to put one over Championship rivals QPR by landing Chelsea youngster Jimmy Smith on a season-long loan deal. The 20-year-old spent last term at QPR and won over the fans with some impressive displays - including two goals in a 4-2 win over Palace. Palace boss Peter Taylor is determined to strengthen his squad, but has been told by chairman Simon Jordan to recruit players on loan rather than shell out funds.
And after scouring the marketplace, Taylor has identified Smith as being the best available option and is confident he can lure the player to Selhurst Park
