COVENTRY v QPR
Marcus Bent has been ruled out of Queens Park Rangers' clash with Coventry. The on-loan striker had to be taken off early in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat by Ipswich with a hamstring injury. Tamas Priskin, who is on loan from Ipswich and was ineligible in midweek, is likely to be his replacement. Boss Mick Harford will welcome back defender Peter Ramage from suspension, but midfielder Mikele Leigertwood will serve the second instalment of a three-game ban. Akos Buzsaky and Adel Taarabt are pushing to start after being brought on as substitutes on Tuesday. Fellow midfielders Gavin Mahon and Martin Rowlands (both knee) remain on the sidelines. Aron Gunnarsson may be rested for QPR’s visit to the Ricoh Arena. The Iceland international is struggling with a niggling injury and he could be given the chance to recover, with James McPake, the man who replaced him against Forest likely to be drafted into the starting XI. Sky Blues manager Chris Coleman must also decide whether or not to hand a debut to on-loan striker Freddie Sears, who has joined from West Ham for the remainder of the season.
