Cook should be fit - Gregory
John Gregory is confident Lee Cook will shake off a medial knee ligament injury in time for Saturday's clash at Coventry.
Cook was replaced by Rohan Ricketts at half-time of Tuesday's crucial 1-0 win over Preston at Loftus Road but is expected to be fit for the trip to the Ricoh Arena.
Gregory praised his players' character after their defeat to West Brom at the weekend but admitted QPR still have work to do to avoid the drop.
He added: "The hardest thing is to settle everyone down, because there is still a lot of work to be done.
"Saturday's defeat by West Brom was a massive punch on the nose, but it shows the character that we have in the dressing room.
"We are four points clear of the relegation zone now, but it is effectively five points, because our goal difference is vastly superior to that of the teams around us.
"So the teams below us will probably have to win two matches to get past us, which is a big ask."
