Clinton Morrison set for QPR
Clinton Morrison has turned his back on a move to Coventry and now looks set to sign for QPR.
Morrison looked all set to sign for the Sky Blues with the club even declaring the deal "99% certain" to go through this week.
However a change of heart from Morrison, possibly brought on by renewed interest from QPR, has seen the deal collapse and Coventry boss Chris Coleman left searching for a strike force following Freddie Eastwood's decision to also snub a move to the Ricoh.
Morrison will renew his working relationship with former Palace boss Iain Dowie at Loftus Road, it was Dowie who ended the players Birmingham hell when he resigned him in 2005.
Palace did offer Morrison a new two-year deal to stay at the club but wasn't able to match the wages of moneybags Rangers for last seasons top scorer, especially with Neil Warnock admitting the player wouldn't be first choice next season.
