O'Hare injury blow for Spireites Chesterfield defender Alan O'Hare will be out for three months after breaking his ankle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Chester City last week.
The 24-year-old has chipped a bone but has not damaged his ankle ligament as was first feared.
Manager Roy McFarland said: \"Although we have confirmation the injury is fairly straight-forward it means that he could be out for up to three months.
\"Fortunately have a ready-made replacement in Phil Picken.\"

Fever brings end to Lowry season Chesterfield defender Jamie Lowry could be out for the rest of the season after contracting glandular fever.
The Newquay-born player, 19, has been told he must have complete rest for four weeks and then will need a couple of months to build up his fitness.
Lowry made his debut earlier this season in the win against West Ham.
Meanwhile midfielder Reuben Wiggins-Thomas, 18, has signed his first professional contract with the Spireites until the end of the season.

Scunthorpe 1-0 Chesterfield Leading goalscorer Billy Sharp kept Scunthorpe on track for promotion with his 18th goal of the season.
A mix-up between Chesterfield keeper Barry Roche and defender Alex Bailey allowed Sharp to nip in to score.
Before then Chesterfield had looked the better side as captain Mark Allott had a shot cleared off the line and Caleb Folan flashed a header wide.
But in the second half Scunthorpe found some form and Roche twice denied Andy Keogh and Ian Morris.

Nicholson extends stint at Boston Boston have extended the loan spell of Chesterfield defender Shane Nicholson for the rest of the season.
The 36-year-old moved from Saltergate to York Street in mid-January, and has impressed manager Steve Evans in his first two appearances for them.
He will now spend the remainder of the campaign with the Pilgrims.
Nicholson could be joined in the line-up on Saturday by three deadline day signings - Colin Cryan, Ernie Cooksey and on-loan Nathan Joynes.

Grimaldi injury hits Chesterfield Chesterfield defender Sebastian Grimaldi is likely to be out of action for up to eight months with a career-threatening knee injury.
Grimaldi, whose short-term deal expires in June, requires surgery to his anterior cruciate ligaments.
The 27-year-old Frenchman picked up the injury in a training ground accident last week.
Meanwhile, defender Kyle Critchell is awaiting on the outcome of a scan on a troublesome groin strain.

Boertein returns from loan spell Derby defender Paul Boertein has returned to Pride Park by mutual consent after completing a short loan spell with Chesterfield.
The 28-year-old joined the Spireites on loan in March and played four games.
Caretaker boss Lee Richardson told Chesterfield's website: "For the last two games of the season I am not able to guarantee Paul a place in the side.
"As his main objective was to get some match practice I fully understand his wish to return to his club."

Richardson takes Chesterfield job Chesterfield have appointed caretaker boss Lee Richardson as their full-time manager, reports SSB
Richardson has been in charge of the Spireites for nine games, winning two, losing four and drawing three matches.
He took over on a temporary basis until the end of the season after previous manager Roy McFarland left the League One club in March 2007.
Richardson has been assisted by veteran striker Wayne Allison and former Rotherham boss Alan Knill.

Walsall re-sign pacy winger Hall Walsall have completed the signing of their former player Paul Hall from League One outfit Chesterfield.
Hall, 34, rejoins the Saddlers six years after he ended his first spell to join Rushden and Diamonds.
"It's another significant piece in our jigsaw," boss Richard Money told their website. "He has a great record and scores regularly from the right wing."
Meanwhile, 18-year-old winger Ishmel Demontagnac has signed a new two-year contract at the club.

Shaw seals exit from Saltergate Forward Paul Shaw has left Chesterfield by mutual agreement because of limited first-team opportunities.
The 33-year-old former Arsenal trainee has scored four goals in 30 league appearances since moving to Saltergate from Rotherham last summer.
"I fully understand the situation," Shaw told the club's website.
"I am disappointed I didn't fulfil what I wanted to achieve at Chesterfield, but I wish the club well and am looking forward to progressing elsewhere."
Shaw has scored 80 league goals in 374 appearances for Arsenal, Burnley, Cardiff, Peterborough, Millwall, Gillingham, Sheffield United, Rotherham and Chesterfield.
However, he has not featured for the Spireites this summer, following the arrival of strikers Steve Fletcher and Jack Lester.

Knill impressed as Spireites win Assistant boss Alan Knill was relieved after Chesterfield won 3-2 at Peterborough in a five-goal thriller.
Spireites strike pair Jack Lester and Steve Fletcher also both had goals disallowed in the first half.
"Two defenders ran into each other and Jack slotted home what I thought was a legitimate goal," Knill explained.
"But we showed a great deal of belief to win after being behind twice - it was a great performance and we're still unbeaten in the league."

Lester injury mars Spireites win Chesterfield's 2-1 win at League Two leaders Milton Keynes Dons was marred after striker Jack Lester was taken to hospital after suffering a leg injury.
"We've had an initial X-ray that hasn't revealed any break," Spireites manager Lee Richardson explained.
"But hairline cracks sometimes appear up to 48 hours later, so we'll have more scans on Monday and Tuesday.
"The damaged area is the lower part of the shin and ankle, where the Achilles is - there may be ligament damage."
Richardson described Danny Swailes' tackle on Lester as "a reckless challenge", for which Swailes was booked.

Spireites encouraged over Lester Chesterfield have been boosted after learning that striker Jack Lester's leg injury may not be as bad as was feared.
Lester was taken to hospital after he was injured in Saturday's 2-1 win at League Two leaders Milton Keynes Dons.
An initial X-ray revealed no broken bones, while a subsequent scan suggests there is very bad bruising rather than serious ligament or tendon damage.
But boss Lee Richardson told the club website: "It's too early to predict how long he will need for a full recovery."
Richardson described Danny Swailes' tackle on Lester as "a reckless challenge", for which Swailes was booked.
