Chelsea beat Bordeaux 4-0 at home before being held to a goalless draw by Cluj in Romania.
Victory would move the London club to the brink of qualification for the knockout rounds, while defeat for Roma would leave them four points off the summit of Group A at the half-way point.
"We need to win tomorrow to qualify," Scolari added. "If we win, we'll have 50% or 70% of the qualification achieved.
"After we play Roma again, then Bordeaux. The last game will be at home (against Cluj). The most important game for us is tomorrow as, afterwards, if we draw or win one more game, we are in the second stage."
