Cerny targets play-off spot
Goalkeeper Radek Cerny is confident he can help QPR clinch at least a play-off place this season after agreeing a two-year deal with the Loftus Road-based club.
The 34-year-old Czech shot-stopper will not officially become a Rangers player until July 1 following his long-term loan switch from Slavia Prague to Tottenham, but is already looking forward to life in the Championship.
He told the club's official website: "It's an exciting new chapter in my career and I'm looking forward to starting life as a QPR player.
"I think promotion is realistic, but we must start the season on the front foot. The Championship is a long, hard campaign and we need to focus on starting the season in a positive fashion.
"First or second, I don't know - but I think the top-six is our target."
