Cerny honoured for clean sheets
QPR keeper Radek Cerny admits he would happily swap the Championship Golden Glove award for more wins during the season. The former Spurs man has shared the honour with Sheffield United's Paddy Kenny, with both keeping 19 clean sheets during the regular season. But whereas Kenny is set to face Burnley in the play-off final at Wembley on Monday, Cerny is gearing up for another spell in the Championship with Rangers. And the Czech told the club's website: "I'm very pleased to win this award - but I'd rather have won a medal for going up. "Keeping clean sheets is a big part of a goalkeeper's job but I never really kept count. I prefer to keep count of the number of wins we register because that's what governs where you finish in the league at the end of the season." Cerny added: "We didn't win enough matches last season and that's something we need to improve next season."
