Camp likely to be recalled
The on loan stopper has been a revelation for QPR in his second loan spell at Loftus Road and a permanent deal could be on in the summer. However Derby's first choice keeper Stephen Bywater was sent off and questioned by the police at Ipswich on Saturday and faces a three game ban as Derby fight for a place in the Premier League. That leaves the Rams with only Lee Grant and their youth team keeper to choose from and Billy Davies will need Camp at Pride Park as cover. That will leave John Gregory to pick from Simon Royce and Jake Cole for QPR's remaining league game - Paul Jones seems well out of favour currently. A permanent deal for Camp in the summer could rest on whether Derby are promoted at the end of the season. Camp, like all the Derby players, would earn a tidy wage rise if they make the Premiership regardless of how much game time he gets for the club. QPR are hoping to prize him away from his boyhood team to Loftus Road where he has undoubtedly played the best football of his career over two spells.
