Bloomer extends loan stay at U's On-loan Lincoln defender Matt Bloomer is to stay with Cambridge United until the end of the Conference season.
Bloomer's loan extension runs to the end of April - making him available for Cambridge's final five games.
The 27-year-old has so far started seven games for the U's and only once finished on the losing side.
Meanwhile, Cambridge defender Adam Davies is to see a neurosurgeon before he is allowed to resume training after being injured by a ball to the throat.

Aldershot v Cambridge United Aldershot will be without defender Greg Heald for their clash against Cambridge as he has decided to become a teacher.
Steve Watson is also out as he serves the first of a two-match ban, while Darren Barnard and Leroy Griffiths are rated as 50-50.
Cambridge will be without defender Adam Davies as the teenager recovers from a serious neck injury.
However, Ritchie Hanlon (calf), Darren Quinton (ankle) and Max Porter (hip) may be in contention after injury.

Newman delight at season's best Manager Rob Newman hailed Cambridge United's "best 45 minutes of the season", as they came from behind to win 3-1 at Aldershot.
"At half time, we were 1-0 down and it looked as though the season was just going to peter our," he said.
"I felt the half-time changes needed to be made, we got the goal early in the second half, and from there we went from strength to strength.
"We've got players trying to earn contracts and put in performances."

Aldershot 1-3 Cambridge Utd Cambridge struck three times after the break to come from behind to beat Conference rivals Aldershot.
Leroy Griffiths headed Aldershot in front from Kirk Hudson's left-wing cross after 34 minutes.
Michael Morrison headed an equaliser from Jon Brady's corner three minutes after the break, and Courtney Pitt's low drive put Cambridge ahead.

Boss Newman pens new deal at U's Cambridge United manager Rob Newman has signed a new deal to stay in charge of the Conference club next season.
Assistant boss Tony Spearing has also penned a new 12-month contract.
"We feel they have earned the right to see what they can achieve with a more competitive budget next year" chairman Terry Baker told Cambridge's website.
Former Southend boss Newman, 42, joined the U's coaching staff in December, 2004 and became manager following their relegation from the League last May.

Hanlon agrees new deal with U's Midfielder Ritchie Hanlon has agreed a new deal to keep him at Cambridge United until the end of next season.
Hanlon, 27, becomes the first player to sign up since manager Rob Newman also agreed a new contract with the U's.
"He's a pivotal member of the side. He knows what it's all about and he knows what it takes to win this league," Newman told Cambridge's website.
The former Peterborough and Rushden man joined Cambridge last August following a short stay with Weymouth.

Cambridge Utd 2-0 York York's Conference play-off hopes suffered a blow as they slumped to defeat at Cambridge.
The hosts went ahead on 61 minutes when Stephen Thomas brought down Craig Westcarr and he picked himself up to slot home the penalty.
And the points were wrapped up 12 minutes from time when Mark Hotte turned the ball past his own keeper.
Things got worse for York when Nathan Peat was dismissed in stoppage time for a second bookable offence.

Newman demands better away form Cambridge manager Rob Newman says his side must improve their away form in the Conference next season.
The U's recorded their 13th away defeat of the campaign on Monday, losing 1-0 to Kidderminster.
"If we're going to be challenging (next year) we've got to come to places and make ourselves difficult to beat," Newman said after Monday's loss.
"If teams score against us it's going to be through their good play rather than our indifference."

Newman hails 'professional' U's Rob Newman hailed his side's fourth away victory of the season as Cambridge beat Scarborough 2-1.
"It was nice to have some resolve about us and we know we can do that now with the personnel we've got," he said.
"We knew we were going to be in for a scrap and I thought all the players out there today put in a thoroughly professional performance.
"Now we've got to do it again next Saturday and leave everyone on a high note at home too."

Scarborough 1-2 Cambridge Robert Wolleaston's double leaves Boro facing possible relegation unless they win their final match at Exeter.
Boro's player-manager Neil Redfearn opened the scoring after 35 minutes when he directed a left-footed shot into the bottom right-hand corner.
Cambridge hit back with Wolleaston firing home on the stroke of half-time and then netting again on 73 minutes.
Boro are now sweating on Altrincham's fate if they finish in the bottom two after their final match next Saturday.

Bridges agrees new Cambridge deal Cambridge United midfielder David Bridges has agreed a new 12-month deal at the Abbey Stadium.
The 23-year-old has made almost 100 appearances for the U¿s since coming through the club's youth system.
Bridges spent last season on loan but has re-established himself this term, scoring eight times and being capped by the England National Game XI.
Boss Rob Newman told the club website: "David has done well and can go from strength to strength next season."

Cambridge 1-2 Dag & Red Paul Benson struck 11 minutes from time to earn Dagenham maximum points in a mid-table battle at Cambridge.
Three second-half goals livened up an otherwise dour clash with first Michael Morrison fouling Benson in the area and Chris Moore netting the penalty (55).
Mark Peters then got his head to Jon Brady's corner to equalise for Cambridge four minutes later.
The game looked to be heading for a draw until Benson rose to meet Danny Foster's cross and head in the winner.

Cambridge boss sees bright future Manager Rob Newman feels the future is bright for his Cambridge side despite them losing their five-month unbeaten home record at the weekend.
Newman said: "It's been a long season and we've had highs and lows but we've managed to keep on an even keel.
"We've had to get over hurdles this season and to get where we have is great testament to my players and everyone at the club.
"The fans know that Cambridge are really thriving now."

Westcarr rejects Cambridge offer Cambridge boss Rob Newman has revealed that forward Craig Westcarr has turned down the offer of a new contract.
The ex-Nottingham Forest man, 21, had been on a month-to-month deal all season, and Newman explained: "His contract ran out on Friday.
"We offered him terms for the rest of this season and next season, but he didn't like those terms. He had to sign on Friday in order to play on Saturday.
"We offered what we thought was a more than fair deal. He turned it down."
