Call ups and Contracts
Despite let's just say 'mixed' fortunes on the pitch, there is more good news coming out of Loftus Road this week - as Pat Kanyuka signs a contract extension and Ray Jones is called up for the England Under 19's once again.
Pat Kanyuka has signed a one year extension to his current contract. The deal sees the 19 year old defender signed up until the end of the 2007/2008 season.
Kanyuka told the Official QPR website:
\"It's great when you've got a manager who is willing to put his faith in the youngsters.I love QPR and it would be great if I could cement a first team place here in the future.\"
Ray Jones recent performance for the England under 19's, has earned him another call up - this time for the friendly tournament in Austria, where England will play Spain and Italy as well as the hosts.
The tournament takes place between 2nd-12th October
