Brighton Deny Rehman Interest
Despite claims to the contrary by QPR, Brighton and Hove Albion manager Dean Wilkins has said today that his club is not looking to take QPR defender Zesh Rehman on a season long loan from August.
As mentioned, despite claims to the contrary and indeed, John Gregory informing the recent AGM that Brighton were interested in a deal, Zesh Rehman will NOT be returning to the Withdean Stadium for a season long loan deal.
Brighton Gaffer, Dean Wilkins told the Brighton Argus Newspaper;
"It's not true. At the end of the season I spoke to John Gregory about the possibility of that but it didn't go any further. Since then we have signed Andrew Whing, so as much as we enjoyed having him here he won't be coming back."
The out of favour defender spent the latter part of last season with the Seagulls, making seven appearances. He made 27 appearances for the R's last season following his move from neighbours Fulham.
