Briatore's Euro giant boast
Rangers chairman Flavio Briatore says the Dani Parejo deal could be the first of many done using his contacts at big European clubs.
The QPR supremo was delighted to complete a deal to bring the 19-year-old Spanish propsect to Loftus Road - where he has been handed the vacant number seven shirt.
And the Formula One mogul boasted that his sporting contacts at the biggest clubs on the continent can help Rangers find players who none of their rivals can.
Briatore told The Telegraph: "I have very good links with not just Real Madrid but also AC Milan, Juventus and other top clubs. A lot of the time in England people go for the same players. You often have five or six managers watching the same player.
"We will open our eyes and work with the likes of Real Madrid, AC Milan and Juventus. We aren't only looking in the UK. We are lucky in that we have a reputation for doing things properly and we have been in sport a long time. We know who our targets are and maybe Dani is here with us for one year, two years, maybe forever - we will see how well he does."
