Briatore plans Loftus concerts
Prospective new QPR owner Flavio Briatore wants to use Loftus Road to host pop concerts.
The Italian Formula One magnate is poised to take control of the west London club after he and F1 supremo Bernie Eccelestone made a £14million recommended offer for the Coca-Cola Championship outfit.
And Briatore, the boss of the Renault team, is already examining ways to make more money from the stadium.
"The location of the stadium is fantastic," he said.
"We need to use it more, for concerts and other forms of entertainment."
