Briatore denies QPR £40m summer transfer kitty
Flavio Briatore has denied reports he will hand boss Luigi De Canio a £40million summer transfer kitty.
He said: "That number is completely wrong. We have super players with a super attitude. You need a certain type of player to get out of the Championship and I think we have them."
Akos Buzsaky admits no one is more surprised than he is to be scoring for Queens Park Rangers so regularly - but insists his unusual strike in the 3-2 win against Blackpool was no fluke.
The 25-year-old set Luigi de Canio's side on the road to victory with a lofted, left-foot effort that looped over Seasiders goalkeeper Paul Rachubka and dropped just under the bar for his ninth goal since joining from Plymouth in November.
He said: "I went for the first-time chip as I saw the goalkeeper coming my way. It would only go in one time in 10 but this was the one - and I have never done anything like that before. I don't usually get many goals but since I came to QPR, I have been scoring regularly - and it feels great."
Rangers were in command two minutes into the second half when Martin Rowlands added to Rowan Vine's 40th-minute goal.
But Blackpool hit back through Ben Burgess and striker Stephen McPhee to set up a tense finish.
