Petta could be looking forward to a future at Bradford
Bradford manager Colin Todd is angry that Bobby Petta's agent could squander the signing of the Dutch winger.
"The biggest problem is always the agent," he told the Telegraph & Argus. "I do think we could do a deal but it's the other demands on top.
"We spoke to Petta's agent on Thursday and laid out our terms. he said what the player wanted and there was little change in it.
"He was going to talk to the player and we've heard nothing since."

City play down Cadamarteri hopes Chairman Julian Rhodes has admitted it is unlikely that Bradford City will complete a deal to bring striker Danny Cadamarteri back to Valley Parade.
Cadamarteri, 25, was transfer-listed by Sheffield United last week and Bantams boss Colin Todd confirmed his interest.
But Rhodes told Bradford's website: "I am fairly confident that we will not be able to reach any form of agreement with regards a contract."
Cadamarteri left City for Leeds last July, joining the Blades in September.

Bradford snap up keeper Howarth Bradford have signed goalkeeper Russell Howarth, who was released by League One rivals Tranmere last month.
Howarth, 23, has agreed a two-year deal with City and will challenge Donovan Ricketts for a first-team berth.
"It was a position we needed filling badly. I am delighted to have got a keeper of Russell's calibre," boss Colin Todd told the Bantams' website.
The former England Under-20 star joined Tranmere from York in November 2002, but started just 11 games.

Todd is fuming over Hunt decision Bradford boss Colin Todd is fuming as transfer target Stephen Hunt now looks set to join Reading instead of City.
The 23-year-old winger has been released by Brentford.
Todd told Bradford's website: "We had agreed terms, and he has gone back on his word. He even went for his medical before deciding to go elsewhere.
"Even his agent advised him to come to Bradford. We could have offered him first-team football - at Reading he'll be a member of a very large squad."
Hunt added: "I know I will leave a lot of people disappointed. I am truly sorry but I have to go where my heart takes me."
"I came over (from Ireland) fully intending to sign for Bradford, but as soon as I stepped off the plane I received a call from Reading.
"I have known Steve Coppell from when I was at Crystal Palace, and that is what persuaded me."
The former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international joined Brentford from Palace in 2001, scoring 25 goals in 136 league appearances in four seasons.
Reading already have three players - Steve Sidwell, Lloyd Owusu and Ivar Ingimarsson - who played under Coppell at Brentford during the 2001/02 season, as did Hunt.

Bantams boss rejects Wrack link Bradford boss Colin Todd has rejected reports linking them with a move for Walsall winger Darren Wrack.
The news came after Todd expressed his anger at missing out on Brentford winger Stephen Hunt, who decided to join Reading instead of the Bantams.
Wrack, 29, has made over 300 senior appearances since joining the Saddlers from Grimsby in 1998, having begun his career as a trainee at Derby.
He scored seven goals in 43 league starts last season.

Cadamarteri returns to Bradford Sheffield United striker Danny Cadamarteri has rejoined former club Bradford on a two-year contract.
The 25-year-old was put on the transfer list by the Blades last season but negotiations over moving back to Valley Parade broke down over wages.
Bantams chairman Julian Rhodes said he was not confident of agreeing a deal.
But Cadamarteri, who left City for Leeds before joining the Blades last year, is believed to have lowered his demands in order to strike a deal.

Jacobs joins Halifax in dual role Halifax Town have appointed former Bradford City stalwart Wayne Jacobs as their new assistant-manager.
Jacobs, 36, replaces Sean McAuley as number-two to Town boss Chris Wilder and will mix his duties with playing.
The defender, who played with Wilder at Bradford and Rotherham, has agreed a 12-month deal after 11-years at City.
Wilder told the Halifax Evening Courier: "He brings a lot with him, not least the dual role having only just left playing in League One."

Bantams boss does not want Butler Bradford City boss Colin Todd will not be signing former Republic of Ireland international winger Thomas Butler.
The 24-year-old ended last season at Hartlepool United, who are believed to be keen to keep him, and has also been linked with a move to Bournemouth.
But Todd feels he has enough cover on the left flank at Valley Parade.
He told the Bradford Telegraph and Argus: "The likes of Lewis Emanuel, Owen Morrison, Ben Muirhead and Marc Bridge-Wilkinson can all play there."

Silkmen complete Symes loan deal Macclesfield have signed young Bradford City striker Michael Symes on a six-month loan deal.
The 21-year-old began his career as a trainee with Everton before joining the Bantams in July 2004.
Symes made seven starts last season, with another seven appearances off the bench, and scored twice, both against Sheffield Wednesday in October.
He was hampered by a ankle injury in the latter stages of the campaign but has now fully recovered.

Jamaica defender set for Bradford Bradford are set to sign Jamaica international defender Damion Stewart - subject to a work permit being issued.
The 24-year-old centre-back, currently with Jamaican side Harbour View FC, has agreed a one-year deal with City.
He will join fellow countryman Donovan Ricketts at Valley Parade, and the pair are set to represent their country in next month's CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Stewart and ex-Oldham man Jermaine Johnson were both sent off in Jamaica's recent 0-0 draw with Honduras.

Petta finally signs for Bradford Bradford City have signed former Ipswich and Celtic winger Bobby Petta.
The 30-year-old agreed a two-year deal at Bradford after the move previously looked to have fallen through.
The 30-year-old Dutchman finished last season at Darlington, having also played in England for Fulham during a loan spell two seasons ago.
Bradford boss Colin Todd had previously tried to sign Petta when he was in charge at Bolton six years ago, only for the player to move to Celtic.
It appeared at the end of May as though the deal had collapsed - with Todd blaming Petta's agent.

Bradford striker Sanasy to leave Bradford striker Kevin Sanasy has been told to find a new club as he does not figure in manager Colin Todd's plans.
"I have spoken to Kevin and told him that he can go, whatever comes up," Todd told the Telegraph & Argus.
"He is well down the pecking order and if he wants to play first-team football then he needs to find somewhere."
Sanasy, 20, has been at Bradford since signing professional forms in 2002, while Tom Penford has been told he can go out on loan.
"It is similar with Tom," added Todd. "With us having so much strength in depth in midfield he is not going to get a chance here.
"Hopefully he can go on loan, play some matches and see what happens.
"There is something there with him as a player and it would be a shame to just discard him."

Keeper Henderson makes Foxes move Leicester have completed the signing of keeper Paul Henderson on a two-year deal after he passed a medical.
The 29-year-old Australian failed to agree new terms with Bradford at the end of last season, and has opted to join the Championship club.
But Henderson has competition for the number one jersey, with Rob Douglas also joining the midlands club from Celtic during the summer.
Henderson said: "Leicester's a big club moving in the right direction."
"It's a real step forward for me to come here."

Promotion not Bantams main goal Bradford City vice chairman Jim Brown says that promotion from League One is not the main priority for manager Colin Todd this season.
A year ago the club was 20 minutes from liquidation before a last minute intervention by local businessmen.
Brown told BBC Radio Leeds: "I don't think we've got to get promotion but it would be disappointing not to build on the firm foundations of last year.
"The financial difficulities we've had are largely behind us."
"We are quietly optimistic for the season ahead.
"Our chairman Julian Rhodes has worked hard with Colin to build the squad."

Todd closing in on left-back deal Bradford boss Colin Todd hopes to move a step closer towards signing an unnamed left-back on a season-long loan from a Premiership club on Monday.
"I know the player wants to come," Todd told the Telegraph & Argus.
"He is not experienced, but he's been on the fringe of the team and he comes highly recommended. I'll be talking to his manager on Monday."
Teenage Middlesbrough defender Andrew Taylor, 18, is reportedly one of the players being targeted by Todd.
