Blackpool 4-1 Bradford
Blackpool made it five games without defeat as they condemned Colin Todd's Bradford to a third successive defeat. Bradford lose appeal over Brown
Bradford have lost their appeal to the Football Association against the red card which was shown to striker Joe Brown in their 4-1 defeat at Blackpool. The 18-year-old was dismissed for violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident involving Blackpool captain Michael Jackson. However, the FA's disciplinary commission rejected the claim. Brown must now serve a three-match suspension that could leave boss Colin Todd with a shortage of strikers.

Bantams and Bees chase Palace man
Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor has revealed that League One teams Bradford and Brentford are hoping to sign Eagles winger Tommy Black on loan. Black, 26, has only made one appearance this season, and saw a potential loan move to Blackpool in August collapse. \"Bradford wanted him last Saturday, but he wanted a week's training first,\" Taylor told his club's website. \"Brentford and Bradford both want him, so something may happen by the end of the week if Tommy's interested.\" Black began his career at Arsenal before joining Palace for £500,000 in 2000. He has also played on loan for Carlisle, Bristol City, Sheffield United and Gillingham.

Doyle, 19, was due to stay until the end of the season until he was carried off against Doncaster on Boxing Day. \"He would have been staying with us but now not going to happen,\" boss Colin Todd told the Express and Argus. The injury is another blow to City who lie 14th in League One and have scored in just two of their last nine games.
