Boss hails key duo
Gareth Ainsworth has saluted Italian duo Damiano Tommasi and Samuel Di Carmine for their contributions to QPR's upturn in form.
Veteran former Italy midfielder Tommasi enjoyed an impressive debut in Tuesday night's 1-0 win over Birmingham while on-loan Fiorentina youngster Di Carmine scored the winner.
Di Carmine, who barely figured under former boss Iain Dowie, had made his first start in the goalless draw at Reading the previous weekend as Ainsworth enjoys an unbeaten start as caretaker boss.
"I thought Tommasi was brilliant. He was everything I expected him to be and is a great asset to QPR," said Ainsworth.
"Samuel's goal was fantastic too. Every player has given me 100% since I've been in charge and that is all I ask for."
