Boss eyes return of loan Rangers
QPR boss John Gregory wants to re-sign Chelsea duo Jimmy Smith and Michael Mancienne on season-long deals next term.
The Stamford Bridge duo played their part in keeping Rangers in the Championship and Gregory is keen to see them return for the 2007/08 campaign.
He told the club's website: "There is an opportunity for them possibly to return here next season and play for another 12 months.
"I would love them to come back. They have really enjoyed being part of the QPR set-up, and playing first-team football in front of proper crowds.
"Maybe in a year or so they will be putting John Terry and Frank Lampard under pressure, but Chelsea don't see the lads in their first team at the moment."
