Bolder reveals Gregory 'respect'
QPR midfielder Adam Bolder has hailed the "man-management skills" of boss John Gregory following his recent move to Loftus Road.
Bolder was one of three players signed by Gregory during the January transfer window, and the 26-year-old impressed on his first two appearances for the relegation-threatened Hoops.
Bolder said. "John has great man-management skills. He was always good to me at Derby. Even when I did not play in his team at Derby, he would always have an explanation for me."
Bolder worked with Gregory during the latter's spell as Derby manager between January 2002 and March 2003, and the combative Hull-born player is confident Gregory will inspire Rangers to beat the drop.
He said: "The opportunity to move down to London and try something different was very attractive."
"I have a lot of respect for him, and I am glad I have joined him here. He is a winner, and that is crucial in our situation."
