Blackstock wary of Carlisle threat
Dexter Blackstock insists QPR are taking the Carling Cup seriously this season, despite promotion from the Championship being their top aim.
Rangers have been installed among the early-season favourites to reach the Premier League with their new-found financial muscle.
But boss Iain Dowie fielded a strong side against Swindon in the last round and is expected to do the same when Carlisle arrive at Loftus Road on Tuesday night.
And Blackstock, who scored at Swindon and against Doncaster on Saturday, is ready for the call to help see off the Cumbrians.
"We want to win every game we play, we don't want to let Carlisle come here and beat us," said the striker. "It's all about momentum and winning games and hopefully we can do that.
"I'm not sure what the manager will do - he changed it a bit for the Swindon game - but I'm sure if he named an unchanged side nobody would complain. Everybody wants to play and if I'm called upon I'd love it."
