Blackstock has expressed his relief
QPR striker Dexter Blackstock has expressed his relief at getting back on the goal trail to cement his place in Luigi De Canio's line-up.
Blackstock could have been forgiven for thinking his time in west London was up after De Canio splashed out on the likes of Rowan Vine, Patrick Agyemang and Hogan Ephraim.
But the former Southampton frontman has bounced back from injury to hit four goals in five games and cement his place in De Canio's forward line.
"I've just been doing what I've always been doing," he said.
"I had a couple of months out with a knee injury, and then when I came back I got suspended. But now I'm getting my fitness back and working hard."
