Bignot wants to stay with Rangers
Transfer-listed defender Marcus Bignot insists he has no intention of leaving Queens Park Rangers.
The 31-year-old said: \"I'm not going anywhere. I want to stay and I don't just mean until my contract expires at the end of the season.
\"I want to stay beyond then as well and I intend to show I'm worth keeping on.
\"I'm going to carry on being professional and hopefully the manager will want me. I can do a job and it's up to me to prove it.\"
Bignot has made over 150 appearances during two spells at Loftus Road.
But he was one of a number of players put up for sale by boss Gary Waddock at the end of last season.
\"I've got no intention of leaving unless Juventus want me to help them get back into Serie A,\" Bignot joked.
\"They need a replacement for Thuram and I'm on the transfer list. If they don't come in for me I'm staying put though.\"
He added: \"As soon as I heard I was on the transfer list my thoughts were that there was no way I was leaving and that I'd get my head down and prove to the club I should stay.
\"That hasn't changed. I'm determined to perform well and stay at QPR.\"
