ADEL TAARABT scored a brilliant early match winner for QPR and was then lucky to stay on the field as he edged Neil Warnock’s men ever closer to the top flight.

Barnsley were furious he stayed on the pitch, escaping with a yellow card. And QPR proved that teams at the top get all the fortune as they managed to hold on, despite Barnsley playing by far the better football.
