Barker: Rs are getting there
QPR defender Chris Barker believes the club are heading in the right direction under the guidance of new first-team coach Luigi Di Canio.
The Hoops have had mixed fortunes in his first three games in charge. He enjoyed a winning start against Hull, a late reversal to lose against Coventry and a late equaliser to give Crystal Palace a point in a 1-1 draw.
Encouraging for Rangers fans is that their team have led all three games but what is discouraging is that in two games having taken the lead, they have failed to win but Barker is adamant they will climb the table.
He told the club's official website: "We are getting there. We should be three points better off than we currently are, but in general we have got to be fairly content with the direction we are heading in.
"We have shored it up at the back in the last four weeks or so and now we need to start finishing teams off."
