Barker relishing Bhoys battle
Rangers new-boy Chris Barker admits glamour friendlies like Sunday's clash with Celtic make pre-season more enjoyable for the players.
Barker, along with fellow new signings Daniel Nardiello and John Curtis, is set to make his first appearance in R's colours at the weekend when Gordon Strachan brings the SPL champions to Loftus Road.
"It will be a decent match," Barker told the club's website.
"Pre-season is always a tough time, but fixtures against sides like Celtic make it all the more enjoyable."
Meanwhile, former Rangers midfielder Marc Bircham, 29, has signed a two-year deal with League One outfit Yeovil after his release at the end of last season.
