Barker: Career started badly
Queens Park Rangers defender Chris Barker has labelled his first performances for the club the "worst of his career".
Barker was signed by the Hoops in the summer on a free transfer from Cardiff and endured a torrid start to life at Loftus Road as the team struggled on the pitch.
They failed to win their first nine games - a series of results that led to the departure of manager John Gregory and the start of Luigi De Canio's reign.
Barker told the club's official website: "I really feel like I'm improving now. The first three or four games were the worst I've played in my career.
"It's good to see what the new manager has done since he arrived at the club. In the last three or four games I feel my form has much improved. I'm getting there."
