Balanta makes Chairboys switch
QPR caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth has allowed striker Angelo Balanta to join League Two promotion-chasers Wycombe on a two-month loan deal.
The highly-rated 18-year-old, who has already made 19 appearances for Rangers and scored three goals, will stay at Adams Park until January 14.
"This will be a valuable part of Angelo's development as a professional footballer," Ainsworth told the club's official website.
"Some of the best players in the current England squad, like David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand, were loaned out to lower-league sides in the early part of their careers and the positives far outway the negatives.
"It will be greatly beneficial for him to play for a Wycombe side currently flying high at the top of League Two."
Ainsworth is looking to add a striker to his squad ahead of Saturday's home clash with Burnley.
