Baidoo Loaned to Gills
Young forward Shabazz Baidoo has joined a plethora of former R's in Kent by joining Gillingham on loan. The Gills are undergoing a transformation under new boss Mark Stimson with seven players signed this week.
Baidoo has not featured for the R's at all this season and has taken the chance to join up with former R's Simon Royce, Steve Lomas, Dennis Oli, Adam Miller and Leroy Griffiths.
Baidoo didn't really get the opportunity to impress under John Gregory as he seemed to favour other strikers but there is no doubting what a talent the young striker could be. He made 4 starts and 9 appearances off the bench last season, scoring two goals, one of which was a very 'handy' equaliser against Luton in the cup.
