Anderlecht sack match-fixing pair
Anderlecht have sacked two players after they admitted being involved in match-fixing while playing for Lierse last season.
Marius Mitu and Laurent Delorge are the two players who have been punished.
General manager Herman van Holsbeeck said: "We have no confidence in these players and have decided now to terminate their contracts."
Police opened an investigation in November after reports of unusually heavy betting on Belgian matches.
