Aldershot Town Brough makes switch to Aldershot
Aldershot have completed the signing of veteran former Cheltenham Town defender John Brough.
The 32-year-old had also interested Conference rivals Forest Green after ending a seven-year stay with Cheltenham at the end of last season.
The Shots have also agreed a new deal with midfielder David Lee, 25.
The former Southend United and Oldham player, who joined Aldershot from Stevenage last season, has signed a two-year contract.

Conference increases loan quotas The Conference has increased the number of loan players clubs can use next season after the enforced introduction of the transfer window system.
Clubs can register four short-term and four long-term loan players and can play five loan players in a game.
Clubs can also sign a keeper for a minimum period of seven days outside the transfer window if they do not have a registered keeper available.
The changes are being brought in to soften the blow of the transfer window.

Farnborough sign teenager Smith Farnborough Town have signed teenager Tyron Smith following his release by Aldershot at the end of last season.
The 18-year-old right-sided player has agreed a 12-month deal at Cherrywood Road to become manager Frank Gray's second signing of the summer.
"Tyron has bags of potential and enthusiasm and can play an important role in Farnborough Town's future," said Gray.
A product of Aldershot's youth system, Smith played 12 games last season.

Shots seeking Johnson replacement Aldershot have begun the search for a replacement for defender Brett Johnson, who has agreed to join Northampton.
As the 19-year-old is under 24, the Conference club are entitled to a fee - and if the clubs cannot agree, the matter will be taken to a tribunal.
"He may have been better serving another year with us, but we wish him well," chairman Karl Prentice said.
Boss Terry Brown hopes to add another experienced defender to his squad in the wake of the teenager's departure.

The 25-year-old sustained a suspected compound fracture of the tibia and fibula and underwent an operation in hospital in Southend that evening.
"We wish him all the best and a speedy recovery," secretary Andy Morgan said.
Lee's joins a crippling injury list with Shots boss Terry Brown currently without six other senior players.

Halifax 1-1 Aldershot Chris McPhee's second half penalty earned Aldershot their first point of the season after John Grant had put Halifax ahead after just five minutes.
He got on the end of Steven Haslam's perfectly judged cross to head past Nikki Bull from six yards.
The Shots were thrown a lifeline just after half time when Ian Dunbavin brought down McPhee in the box.
He picked himself up to convert the penalty and earn a draw for the injury-hit Hampshire side.

He joined Posh from Reading last summer following two previous loan spells, and has made 40 appearances for them.
Shots boss Terry Brown has seen his squad decimated by injuries in the opening weeks of the season.
The Hampshire side currently prop up the Conference table with just one league win.

Aldershot 0-1 Hereford Daniel Carey-Bertram grabbed the only goal of the game to earn Hereford a valuable three points at Aldershot.
Carey-Bertram's strike came with barely a minute on the clock and it was a fine finish, drilling home right-footed from the left-hand side of the penalty area.

Shots willing to let defenders go Conference strugglers Aldershot Town have placed experienced defender Tarkan Mustafa on the transfer-list.
The 32-year-old full-back, who joined the Shots in January, has been told that he can leave either on loan or on a permanent basis.
Mustafa, whose previous clubs include Dagenham and Rushden and Diamonds, has only started five games this season.
Centre-back Tobi Jinadu, 21, has also been made available as they look to recover a poor start to the season.

Safety first for Aldershot boss Aldershot boss Terry Brown is keen to ensure their Conference safety before he thinks about anything else.
"We need to concentrate on the next game at Hereford on Tuesday, and make sure we get something out of that," he told Sir Stanley.
"We are as near the bottom as the top, and we're not arrogant enough to think that (getting involved in a relegation scrap) couldn't happen to us.
"Once we have got 45 or 46 points, we can start looking up."

Dixon injury blow for Aldershot Aldershot will be without on-loan Wycombe striker Jonny Dixon for a month after he was injured in Saturday's win over Dagenham & Redbridge.
"Jonny went to Wycombe for tests and he has ruptured his hamstring," said Shots boss Terry Brown.
"It is likely to be a month on the sidelines," he told his club's website.
Dixon, 22, has scored three times in seven games during his second loan stay with the Shots and Brown is keen to sign him permanently in the summer.
