Ainsworth proud to hold QPR reins
QPR caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth is convinced the Loftus Road club will go from strength to strength despite the sacking of Iain Dowie last week.
"QPR is very strong with the result of what happened and will stay strong, nothing is going to break us," Ainsworth told London 94.9.
"Iain was a great mentor for me when he was here, he gave me the reserve job, I never thought I'd be thrust in to this.
"I'm a very proud man, I am happy to be doing the job," the 35-year-old added.
