Ainsworth focused on keeping place
QPR winger Gareth Ainsworth is happy to fight for his place amid talk of a massive January spending spree at Loftus Road.
The recent investment of Britain's richest man, Lakshmi Mittal, in the club has sparked reports of a £10million war chest being made available to boss Luigi De Canio when the transfer window opens.
But Ainsworth said: "I don't think there's going to be an unbelievable change in personnel next month, although there might be a few worried players in the dressing room.
"I'm not worried. I'm a believer that if someone is better than you they should take your place.
"I was more worried about administration. For this club to have died would have been a tragedy. At least that's not hanging over us any more."
