Kenny.....6 had little to do but one top class save to push a free kick onto the post and seemed confident and handled securely when required. Hill.....7 very solid game all round hardly put a foot wrong and what a clearance after kenny's save Gorkss .....8 had a very solid game again and 2 great goals and for his all round performance gets my motm award Walker......7 a genuine attacking full back with pace to burn gave donny defenders the "mike reid" on many occasions needs to be offered a deal in jan. Connolly.....7 again looked assured on the ball and some very slick passing too Derry .......7 again spoiled the opposition in the middle broke up some very good moves and found some important passes too Taarabt.....6 one of his quieter days but still gets on the scoresheet,some nice touches and flicks but generally quiet. Buzsaky......6 huffed and puffed through the game and clearly needs a run in the team,still gives 100% and had a couple of decent chances will have to perform better to keep his place once faurlin is fit. Ephraim.....5 average at best only showed flashes of how good he can be Helguson .....7 ran his socks off all game and won nearly everything that was aimed at him a completely different heider from last season Mackie .....7n another one who never stopped working and as per usual gave 100% and never stopped running into space and tackling back. Substitutes 24 Cerny, 26 Borrowdale, 06 Leigertwood, 14 Rowlands, 35 Parker, 19 Agyemang, 21 Smith subs used leigertwood....5 didnt really get involved to gain a decent score ageymang ....5 why is he still here? smith unfair to score as he wasnt on thr pitch more than two minutes hopefully yesterdays result is a sign of things to come as we won while playing average,we had enough in the tank to step up a few gears but didnt seem to need it.doncaster were a neat and tidy side who play some nice football but lack the knockout punch.our midfield has to be the most versatile in this league as we can play sweet flowing football one minute and roll our sleeves up and graft the next.neil warnock has moulded a real spirit and desire in this squad and hopefully it continues.
