Coventry recruit Accrington coach
Former Wales international Andy Dibble has ended a spell as goalkeeping coach at Accrington Stanley to take up a similar post with Coventry City. The 41-year-old joined Accrington in August 2005 and played twice for the Conference champions last season. \"Being a part of everything last season was one of the highlights of my career,\" he told Stanley's website. Dibble was capped three times by Wales during a league career which included spells with 15 clubs, including loans.

Mansfield v Accrington
Mansfield have been boosted by the return of three players with Simon Brown recovering from a dead leg. Danny Reet (concussion) and Matty Hamshaw (muscle twinge) are fit after being forced off in the defeat at Bristol Rovers. Accrington's Robbie Williams (groin) and Julien N'Da (knee) are doubtful, while skipper Peter Cavanagh serves a one-match ban. Danny Ventre has returned from a loan stint at Southport.

Grimsby v Accrington
Grimsby have defender Tom Newey back after a one-match ban. The League Two strugglers also have loan signings Anthony Pulis, Martin Paterson and Peter Till available. Accrington have four new loan signings in David Mannix, Adam Dugdale, Joe Jacobson and Curtis McDonald all in contention to start. But Jay Harris starts the first game of a three-match ban while skipper Peter Cavanagh is missing for the next three months with a knee injury.

Accrington plan new stadium move
Accrington Stanley want to leave their Fraser Eagle Stadium and move to a new ground in the town. The League Two club will go ahead with plans to cover the Clayton Terrace end of their ground but have started talks over a possible new site. Chairman Eric Whalley said: \"We are ambitious and want to move on. We can have one more promotion here but don't want to make major improvements.\" Stanley have been at their existing home since 1968. They previously played at Peel Park prior to their resignation from the League in 1962.

Macclesfield v Accrington
Macclesfield defender David Morley is still a major doubt with a thigh problem, while goalkeeper Tommy Lee (groin) is unlikely to feature. Rob Scott is sidelined with a calf injury that is likely to keep him out for another week. Accrington have Michael Welch available after suspension but but Robbie Williams and Shaun Whalley are banned. Injured trio Peter Cavanagh (knee), Andrew Tretton (knee) and Rommy Boco (back) all remain out of contention.

McGivern set to miss four months
Accrington Stanley have been hit by a further injury blow with Leighton McGivern set to miss up to four months with a broken bone in his ankle. The 22-year-old striker is to undergo surgery this week after sustaining the injury in Saturday's 3-3 draw at Macclesfield Town. He joined Stanley last month in a deal lasting until the end of the season. Meanwhile, forward David Brown is to spend a second month on loan with Conference side Burton Albion.

Bury's Andy Bishop forced home the ball in the closing stages to deny Stanley their first league win in 10 games. The home side went ahead after five minutes when Andy Todd scored a penalty after a foul on David Brown. Bury went all out for the equaliser, with Bishop in particular drawing several good saves from Stanley goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin. Wrexham v Accrington
Wrexham boss Denis Smith has defender Steve Evans available again after a four-game suspension. Ryan Valentine and Levi Mackin should also return, but Matt Crowell is an injury doubt and Danny Williams is struggling to overcome a virus. Accrington striker Andy Mangan is available for the trip to Wrexham after serving a two-match ban. Defender Danny Ventre (fractured tibia), Rommy Boco (back), Peter Cavanagh (knee) are all ruled out.

Defender Rogers joins Accrington
Accrington Stanley boss John Coleman has secured the signing of long-standing target Alan Rogers. Rogers, who Coleman tried to sign on a couple of occasions last year, joins the League Two side as a free agent after leaving Bradford City in October. The left-back, 30, started his career at Tranmere and as well as playing for Leicester had two spells at Nottingham Forest, who paid £2m for him in 1997. Rogers is set to make his Stanley debut in Saturday's game at Boston United.

Accrington sign Preston's McGrail
Accrington Stanley have signed teenage Preston striker Chris McGrail to aid their relegation fight. The 17-year-old, who has twice been on the bench for Preston in recent weeks, has joined Stanley on work experience for a month. Meanwhile, Accrington boss John Coleman has also lodged a cash bid for a striker from a Conference club. But defender Rikki Bains has left the Fraser Eagle Stadium after deciding not to extend his non-contract deal.

Almeida free to make Stanley bow
Accrington Stanley have received international clearance to complete the signing of defender Mauro Almeida. The 25-year-old, who joined Stanley just before the transfer window closed, will now be eligible to make his debut at Barnet on Saturday. The Portuguese centre-back earned a deal with Accrington after impressing during a training break in Spain. Meanwhile Reds manager John Coleman is looking to sign a further goalkeeper to cover for the injured Ian Dunbavin.

Walsall came from behind to cut the gap on leaders Hartlepool to five points. They went ahead after 21 minutes when Kevin Harper fired in from 18 yards for his third goal in six games. Accrington were level four minutes later when Paul Mullin shot low past Clayton Ince and Robbie Williams headed them in front after the break. Stanley's Tretton calls it a day
Accrington defender Tretton has retired after losing a two-year battle with a knee injury. The 30-year-old failed to complete a full recovery from the problem he first suffered during pre-season in 2005. Tretton joined Stanley from Hereford but made just seven league appearances and had not played this season. After starting his career with Derby, he played over 100 games for Shrewsbury before spending three seasons in the Conference with Hereford.

Accrington manager releases trio
Accrington will release Michael Welch, Mauro Almeida and Sean Doherty at the end of their contracts in the summer. Centre-back Welch, 23, joined from Macclesfield in 2005 and has been a regular in the last two seasons. Fellow defender Almeida, 25, was signed on a short-term deal but made just five appearances for the club and has not featured since March. Midfielder Doherty, 21, joined from Port Vale last summer and had a loan spell at Southport earlier this season.

Proctor agrees Stanley contract
Accrington Stanley midfielder Andy Proctor has agreed a new deal to extend his stay at the Fraser Eagle Stadium. The 24-year-old, who joined the Reds in 2002, has accepted the offer of a two-year contract. Proctor has made almost 200 appearances for the club, despite missing most of the 2005/06 season with a knee injury. Meanwhile, midfielder Tony Grant is set to leave Stanley with the two parties seeking a settlement on the final 12 months of his contract.
